ABOUT SCOTT
With over 25 years in the design industry, Scott Langton's experience is unparalleled. After graduating with a Master's Degree in Menswear & Tailoring from the prestigious Royal College of Art in London, Scott was brought to the US by hip hop icon, Russell Simmons, where he served as head designer at Phat Farm. Scott's talent was soon noticed by P Diddy, who hired him as head designer to launch the Sean John brand. His work culminating in 2004, as Design Director, Sean John won the CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year award.
Following from this successs Scott launched his reknowned streetwear brand, Artful Dodger, fusing his talent, individuality and hard work ethic, Scott Langton became a household name with an immediate acceptance into the urban street marketplace. Artful Dodger experienced colossal success resulting with JayZ and Iconix purchasing the brand for $15M in 2007 where Scott continued overseeing the brand. After exiting Artful Dodger in 2011, Scott created the unique Under Two Flags brand; a mix of "Americana with a British accent". Partnering with GTFM, the founders of FUBU, Under Two Flags found success in esteemed global retailers such as Harvey Nichols.
In 2014 Scott partnered with Wilson Design Source Supply, a British manufacturing company, successfully relaunching cult Danish brand, Punk Royal, for the US streetwear market.
The journey comes full circle as Scott Langton was recently appointed as Creative Director and VP of Design for Sean John, to oversee the brand's 20th anniversary collection. This collection will be sold exclusively to Bloomingdale's.
